Our KidsChurch is a great place for kids to discover a “Faith that is Their Own” as the children’s staff comes alongside parents to help them disciple their children through high energy live worship, small group teaching, fellowship, and games. Jr. KidsChurch, Kids Town, and Bldg. 345 all teach directly from God’s Word allowing the Holy Spirit to draw kids into a deeper relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
We place a great emphasis on teaching our kids what it looks like to follow Jesus with our entire lives. Our curriculum is custom-tailored to be directly from God’s Word through worship, stories, audio-visual and small-group teaching. While what our kids learn at church is important, we believe that nothing will ever be able to overshadow the role of parents as disciple-makers.
Our Wednesday night Breakout takes kids on an adventure through the Bible that includes, powerful worship, Video Madness, fellowship, and small group teaching. Breakout is for children four years old through fifth grade from 6:30p-8p. Childcare is available for infant through three-year-old children.
We love to have times outside the regular church meeting for children and families to interact in fellowship and fun. This includes our annual Fall Family Kick Off each September, the giant community-wide Autumn Bash at the end of October, our End of Winter Hike, our summer camps for children in kindergarten through fifth grade, and our Summer Swim Tour, which allows kids and interested parents to travel to different pools in the area.
Be sure to arrive early to check your kids in and drop them off in their respective environments before the service starts. In order to check your child in for the first time, you’ll need to register at the check-in center in the front of the church. When you get to Riverlawn, one of our greeters can point you toward the KidsChurch check-in area in the front of the building.
