Equipping Classes
Equipping Classes are short-term classes usually lasting 6-10 weeks and focusing on a particular topic of discipleship or equipping for ministry. These classes vary throughout the year.
Exploring God's Call; Wondering how God is calling you to grow and serve? Join us to explore your passions, gifts, and the opportunities God places before you. Exploring God’s Call is a 4-week class aimed at equipping you to understand the unique ways you are designed and gifted and to explore your passions, gifts, and the opportunities God places before you. This class begins Sunday, April 12th at 11AM in the Fireside Room (D-7).
Marriage; Join us for an upcoming Equipping Class on Marriage led by Jeff & Denise Bennett. This group is designed to help couples build healthy, Christ-centered relationships. Through practical teaching and honest conversation, you’ll gain tools to strengthen communication, deepen connection, and grow together in every season of marriage. This class begins Sunday, March 22nd at 9:30AM in room D-1.
Recover & Restore; Abortion grief is a heavy burden to live with for many women. In the United States, it is estimated that one in four women will have an abortion by the age of 45. If your heart has been broken by abortion, we are introducing a special recovery class. This is a Christ-centered study covering the secret grief of abortion and the steps to receive healing through a closer walk with Jesus. If you are interested in the class, contact Josh . Young Adult Bible Study; Riverlawn Young Adults (18–25) are diving into the book of Galatians together this spring semester. We’re using a Discovery Bible Study format that is simple, conversational, and built for real growth. Led by young adults, for young adults. Come ready to read, discuss, and actually apply what you find in Scripture. This class begins Sunday, January 18th at 9:30AM in room D-4.

Community Hour Classes
Community Hour Classes meet weekly on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 am. service. These classes are typically year-round and are geared around a set curriculum or book of the Bible. Classes for Winter 2025 include:
- Great Doctrines of the Bible (Room D-2): This class is doing a study that focuses on different doctrines of the Bible.
- The Encouragers Class: The NIV Standard Curriculum (Room D-3): The NIV curriculum is a scope of the entire Bible and so each week that lasts throughout the year.
- The Book of Ecclesiastes (Room D-5): This class is going through a verse by verse study of the book of Ecclesiastes.
- Free Spirits Class for Women: The Gospel of Mark (Room D-6): This class is going through a RightNow Media Study on the Gospel of Mark and is for women.
- The Gift of Faith Class: The NIV Standard Curriculum (Room D-7): The NIV curriculum is a scope of the entire Bible and so each week that lasts throughout the year.
- Genesis 1-11 (Room D-8): This class is going verse by verse through Genesis 1-11.
