Sunday Morning Classes
Equipping Classes
Equipping Classes are short-term classes usually lasting 6-10 weeks and focusing on a particular topic of discipleship or equipping for ministry. These classes vary throughout the year.
Sermon on the Mount; January 18th- March 8th (9:30AM) - Explore the Sermon on the Mount and Jesus' transforming call to a life shaped by truth, obedience, and love. This class begins Sunday, January 18th at 9:30AM in room D-1.
The Disciples' Journey; January 18th - March 15th (11AM) - Following Jesus is a lifelong journey of faith and is about having a personal relationship. Join Pastors Caleb & Josh as we host The Disciples Journey. This Equipping Class is an opportunity to grow in your relationship with Jesus as you follow Him. The class begins Sunday, January 18th at 11AM in the Fireside Room (D-7).
The Body as Biblical Counselors; January 18th - March 15th (11AM) - When we embark on a Care and Visitation Ministry we are showing what Jesus' compassion looks like when we strap on "sandals and head out" to connect with the hurting, lonely and those seeking hope. This class will provide numerous practical tips on how to visit and care for people in hospitals, nursing homes, in-home restrictions, emergency rooms, and psychiatric units. You will gain confidence, sharpen listening skills, and how to be the much-needed Ephesians 4:2 person, who is humble, gentle, patient and loving to those in need of hope and fellowship. This class begins Sunday, January 18th at 11AM in room D-6.
Young Adult Bible Study; Riverlawn Young Adults (18–25) are diving into the book of Galatians together this spring semester. We’re using a Discovery Bible Study format that is simple, conversational, and built for real growth. Led by young adults, for young adults. Come ready to read, discuss, and actually apply what you find in Scripture. This class begins Sunday, January 18th at 9:30AM in room D-4.

Community Hour Classes
Community Hour Classes meet weekly on Sunday mornings from 9:30-10:30 am. service. These classes are typically year-round and are geared around a set curriculum or book of the Bible. Classes for Winter 2025 include:
- Great Doctrines of the Bible (Room D-2): This class is doing a study that focuses on different doctrines of the Bible.
- The Encouragers Class: The NIV Standard Curriculum (Room D-3): The NIV curriculum is a scope of the entire Bible and so each week that lasts throughout the year.
- The Book of Ecclesiastes (Room D-5): This class is going through a verse by verse study of the book of Ecclesiastes.
- Free Spirits Class for Women: The Gospel of Mark (Room D-6): This class is going through a RightNow Media Study on the Gospel of Mark and is for women.
- The Gift of Faith Class: The NIV Standard Curriculum (Room D-7): The NIV curriculum is a scope of the entire Bible and so each week that lasts throughout the year.
- Genesis 1-11 (Room D-8): This class is going verse by verse through Genesis 1-11.
