Justice for the Marginalized

Sep 13, 2020    Eli Bayless    John 8:12-18, 1 John 1:5-10

As humans, we make justice about condemnation and similarly to the Pharisees we often cast stones at the marginalized. However, we are called to love like Jesus, extending mercy and forgiveness, but not shying away from acknowledging sin. Justice in our lives is not about calling out the wrongs of others. Instead, it is about a constant self-examination and repentance of our OWN sin, and sharing the hope and mercy of the Gospel with those around us who are marginalized for their sin.
